Ramona L. Murphy

Ramona L. Murphy, age 68 of Dalton, Ohio, died Monday, October 1, 2007 at Country Lawn Nursing Home in Navarre, Ohio. She was born on August 31, 1939 in Oxford, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Frank & Georgia (McCloy) Lowther. She was an area resident since 1955. Ramona was a homemaker, a member of the Massillon Baptist Temple and a member of the North Lawrence Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Murphy and a son James “Rodney” Murphy. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Randy and Natalie Murphy of Beach City and her granddaughter Christi Murphy. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 1:00 PM at the Spurgeon Funeral Home in West Union, WV with calling hours one hour before the service. Burial will be in Coleman-Freeman Cemetery.
