Ralph R Lewton

Ralph R Lewton, age 96 of Perry Heights, went to be with the LORD on January 10, 2019. He was born in Lisbon on August 31, 1922; a son of the late Carl and Jessie Lewton. He graduated Anderson High School of Lisbon and served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. He worked as a carpenter for Local Union 69. Ralph was a member of the Post 221 American Legion, the Trinity United Methodist Church, and the Perry History Club. He enjoyed reading and building furniture. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Kimberly Ayers, 2 brothers, and his sister. He is survived by his wife Mary Lewton; 2 sons Tim (Ann) Lewton, Greg (Sandy) Lewton; 6 grandchildren Cheryl, Sancy, Farrah, Nick, Rindi, Ryan; and 13 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Aultman Hospice and Aultman Compassionate Care staff for all the wonderful care Ralph received. Funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday, January 14, 2019, at the Trinity United Methodist Church of Perry, with Pastor Tina Siroki officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service also in the church. Interment will be in the Sunset Hills Burial Park.
