Ralph Eugene "Sonny Boy" Sturm Ii

Ralph Eugene Sturm “Sonny Boy” II, 65 of Massillon, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021. Sonny was born on July 17, 1955, in Massillon, the son of Sonny and Jo Ann (Duckworth) Sturm. He was a lifelong resident of Massillon and a 1974 graduate of Washington High School. He owned and operated A1 Sturm Sewer and Drain Cleaning. Sonny enjoyed riding his bike, photography (especially taking beautiful pictures of the towpath), and riding his Harley Davidson. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Katherine Sturm, and his mother, JoAnn Sturm. He is survived by his father, Sonny (Sheila) Sturm; daughters, Dr. Angela Barber (Jeremy Baltzly) and Mandy Sturm; granddaughters, Scarlett and Dahlia; siblings, Julie Sturm, Timothy (Kathy) Sturm, Matthew (Jody) Sturm, Adam Sturm, Joshua (Julia) Sturm, and Andrew Sturm. Cremation will take place. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you plant a tree at the Wilderness Center located in Wilmot, Ohio.
