Ralph Baysinger

Ralph H. Baysinger, 81, of Massillon passed away Friday, March 12, 2010 at Affinity Medical Center. Ralph was born April 23, 1928 in Massillon to the late Roy and Lorena (Ryman) Baysinger, and was a lifelong area resident. He retired from Republic Steel in 1986, and also farmed his own property for many years. Along with farming Ralph enjoyed gardening, fishing, woodworking, and traveling. He attended First Christian Church in N. Canton. Ralph is survived by his wife Ruth whom he married June 6, 1994; children Jeffrey (Lois) Baysinger of Jensen Beach, FL, Sandra (Arno) Zirngibl of N. Canton, Debra Groesser and Candy (Greg) Rude both of California, and Scott (Valerie) Cook of Pennsylvania; grandchildren Grant, Cort, Kirsten, Aron, Julie, Heather, Bryan, Marcia, and Emily; five great-grandsons; brother Harold (Phyllis) Baysinger of Massillon. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Dolores (Morrison) in 1993, and brother Richard Baysinger. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 P.M. at Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd. NE. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery.
