Rachael Popa

Rachael "Zedaker' Popa, age 52 of East Sparta was called to be with the Lord on April 30th. She was born January 3, 1963 in Massillon to Elonza & Elma (Elliott) Zedaker. Rachael was a stay at home Mom who took great pride in raising her children. Family, friends, and helping others were the most important things in life to her. She loved her family, friends, cooking, couponing and crocheting and her dog Petey. Her family will remember her loving, caring and giving heart, and the unconditional love and support that she extended to each and every person that crossed her path. Her father Elonza Zedaker and two brothers Michael & Lenny Zedaker preceded her in death. Rachael is survived by her husband, George Popa. There are four children: Rachelle (Perry) Wiegreff, George Popa, Samuel Popa and Neely Medlock. She leaves her mother and step-father Elma & Eugene Jenkins, brother Jeff (Belinda) Zedaker and her beloved nine grandchildren. A Memorial Service for Rachael will be 7 PM Wednesday May 6th at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon, Rev. Terry Livengood will officiate.
