Peter Stavroff

Peter Stavroff, age 75 of Massillon, died on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Scenic Point Nursing Home in Millersburg, Ohio. He was born on July 11, 1933 in Massillon and was the son of the late Simon & Mary (Matako) Stavroff. He was lifelong area resident. He retired from Republic Steel and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Stavroff, his brother Sam Stavroff and his sister Kate Compan. He is survived by his brothers, George (Marjorie) Stavroff of Massillon, Andrew Stavroff of Canton and Edward Stavroff and his friend Carlene of California, his sister Nancy Lee (Bob) Furney of Richville and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Peter Stavroff will take place on Friday at 11:00 A.M. at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Rev. John Telloni officiating.
