Peter S. Lampard

Peter S. Lampard, age 81 of North Canton passed away on December 16, 2017. He was born on December 13, 1936 to the late Frank and Lenore Lampard in Detroit, Michigan. He married Dawn Shever on December 09, 1967, recently celebrating 50 years together. Peter worked as a researcher for NASA - Glenn Research Center and BP Research Center in Cleveland, as well as B&W Research Center in Alliance. He was an avid fan of Mount Union College Football, enjoyed wildlife, backpacking, rockclimbing. reading technical journals and making spreadsheets. He was known as a staunch conservative who listened to Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh. He is survived by his wife, Dawn; his children Rand (Darcy) Lampard, Elizabeth (Jeff) Davis and Jonathan (Melissa) Lampard; his grandchildren Benjamin, Caroline, Nathan, Alexandra, Victoria, Olivia and Addison; his sister Corinne Mitchell; his brother-in-law Delmar (Barbara) Shever; his sister-in-law Sandra Shever and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Clarke Lampard; brothers-in-law Harry Mitchell, Dennis Shever and his sister-in-law Ruth Lampard. A Celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 2P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. The family will receive friends from 1pm until the time of the service.
