Peter "Pete" Ciesielczyk, 69 of Perry Township, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016. Pete was born on April 23, 1947 in Marietta, Ohio the son of Peter and Dorothy (Mallett) Ciesielczyk. He was a 1965 graduate of Perry High School. Pete attended Malone University where he received his Master's degree in Education. He taught at both Richville and Lohr Elementary Schools for a combined 38 years. Pete was a past fire chief of Richville Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of Mud Run Gun Club, North Lawrence Fish & Game Club, and Richville United Church of Christ. Pete enjoyed boating, skiing, and traveling. He also loved dogs. He was preceded in death by his father Peter I. Ciesielczyk. He is survived by his wife, Debra (Frederick) Ciesielczyk whom he married on July 7, 2006; his mother, Dorothy Ciesielczyk; his step sons, Kyle and Cory Isler; his brothers, Paul Ciesielczyk and Gary (Amy) Ciesielczyk; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Pete's life will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Richville U.C.C. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Monday from 4-8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 – 11 a.m. at the church. A Stark County Fire Fighter's Association Last Alarm Service will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Richville U.C.C. in Pete's name.
