Peter Douglas Street

Peter D. Street, passed away on July 30, 2012. He was born to the late Archibald and Laura (Mulsen) Street in Massillon on January 7, 1921. Pete was married to Betty (Snyder) Street until her passing on August 26, 1995. Pete proudly served his country during World War II. He was retired from Republic Steel after more than 40 years of service. Pete enjoyed spending time outdoors and working on tractors. Pete will be remembered as devoted and loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his son, Terry; his daughter-in-law Clora; 3 grandchildren, Tim (Kalicia) McGowen, Amanda Street, and Megan Street, and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. A Funeral Service will be held at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday, August 3, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Newman Cemetery.
