Pearl Gardner Garman Hornbrook of Navarre and a lifelong resident of Massillon, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 9, 2019 at 96 years old. The daughter of Jasper and Mertie Gardner, Pearl was the 2nd youngest of 11 kids. She married Norman Garman and they spent 53 wonderful years, as Pearl said, "I was his girl and he was my guy". Together they raised five children. Pearl was a homemaker and then later proudly worked for Sears until she retired in 1991.She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Class of "41" Dalton High Committee. Pearl married Howard Hornbrook and they enjoyed each other's companionship until his passing. Pearl unconditionally embraced her step family as her own. Pearl moved to Lexington, Ohio and lived with her family. She is survived by two daughters:Barbara Sarbach Miller and Linda Warner; 8 grandchildren: Kimberly (T) Richardson, Duane Garman, Stephen Garman, Jennifer (Jeff) Mahood, Thomas (Rebecca) Sarbach, TJ (Rachel) Garman, Todd (Shelby) Warner, and Heather (Brett) Pauley; and numerous great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, three sons- Duane, Thomas, Timothy Garman, her first and second husbands, and 10 brothers and sisters. A Celebration of her life will be held at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 2:00PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1PM until the time of the service. The committal will take place at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. www.arnoldlynch.com
