Pauline C. Miller, 97 of Massillon, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017. She was born on August 11, 1920 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late Jerome and Adeline (McGinnis) Schmidt. Pauline served her country during WWII with the WAC division of the U.S. Army. She worked for many years as a monitor at Gorrell Elementary School. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Miller, her sister Velma “Susie” Smith and her brothers, Clarence, Raymond, George and Clifford Smith. Pauline is survived by her sons, David (Dreama) Miller, Daniel (Shannon) Miller and Timothy (Pamela) Miller, her grandchildren, Todd (Tanya),, Kristy (Kevin), Michelle (James), Wendy (Greg), Tina (Warren) and Mindy, 17 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and her sister Evelyn Mays. The funeral will take place on Monday at 11:00 am at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home and burial will follow with military honors at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
