Paula Lynn Sponaugle

Paula Lynn Sponaugle, 78 of Perry Township, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016. Paula was born on June 21, 1938 in Pancevo, Yugoslovia the daughter of the late Joseph and Magdelena (Gallo) Puffler. Paula worked as a beautician and a health care worker. She enjoyed playing dominos and attending her card club meetings. Paula was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Cleon in 1971, brothers, Alexander Djukic and Yoshi Puffler and her sister, Elizabeth Djukic. She is survived by her children, Walter Sponaugle and Sandra Sponaugle; grandchildren, Kristin and Ashley Sponaugle; great-grandchildren, Mike Irvin and Willa Wagner; sisters, Maria "Mitzi" (Dieter) Kleinschmidt, Charlotte (Clayton) Cooper, and Daniza "Dano" Rockendorf. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
