Paula Ann Heighton

Paula Ann Heighton, 63, of Perry Township, passed away peacefully at her residence with her family by her side, on Sunday, July 18, 2021. Paula was born in Canton, on May 28, 1958, the daughter of Earl F. and Velma L. (Berry) Deitrick, Sr. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1977 graduate of McKinley High School. Paula enjoyed her time working at the Canton Regency. She loved her family, and especially her grandkids. She truly enjoyed going out to restaurants for dinner. Paula had been a member of Central Baptist Church in Perry. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Deitrick, Sr, husband, Timothy Heighton in 2011, infant siblings, James, and Derry Deitrick and daughter-in-law, Patrice Warfield. She is survived by her children, Scott (girlfriend Sara) Warfield, and Crystal (Kurt) Miner; mother, Velma Deitrick; grandchildren, Leahna, James, Kohlten, and Europa; and siblings, Earl F. Deitrick, Jr., Linda Deitrick, and Ron (Bonnie) Deitrick. A Celebration of Paula’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at 7 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. A private graveside service will be held at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens later.
