Paul W. Kritzer Sr., age 81 of Massillon, passed away Monday at Hospice Care Center in Akron. He was born on February 28, 1926 in Massillon to the late Walter and Alice (Beeman) Kritzer. Paul was a lifelong resident of Massillon and a United States WWII Army Veteran. Paul worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad Company in Massillon, then he worked for the Eaton Corp. in the shipping department retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Massillon Booster Club, a huge Tigers fan and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, serving as an usher for 50 years. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Kritzer in 2002; sister, Helen Kritzer. He is survived by his children and their spouses; Jayne L. Croop of Canton, Paula Kritzer of Massillon, Paul W. (Barb) Kritzer Jr. of Massillon and Fred G. Kritzer of Massillon, 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-granddaughters; E-Marie & Felicia. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 A.M. at the Arnold Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon. Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Rev. Mark Oster of St. Pauls Lutheran Church will be officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
