Paul A. Rook

Paul Arthur Rook, 96, of North Lawrence, passed away on December 28, 2024. He was born in Massillon, Ohio on June 7, 1928 to the late Edgar and Elizabeth Rook. 

Paul was a U.S. Army veteran who served his country until honorably discharged in 1952. He worked as an electrician for over 40 years at Ecko until his retirement. Paul enjoyed golfing and bowling in his work league when he was younger. He also enjoyed arrowhead hunting, being outdoors, collecting insulators, and rocking in his chair on the porch reading the paper. Paul was dedicated to his family, and was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and wonderful person.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife Evelyn Rook.

He is survived by his children; Jane Chapman and Karen J. (Jim) Rauch; two grandchildren, Tiffany (Adam) Chapman and James Rauch; and one great-grandchild, Howie. 

A private inurnment will take place at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
