He later moved to the area and worked for the Timken Company for 41 years until retiring in 1983. He was proud to have driven the first heister truck at the Timken Company. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris and his former wife Helen Chisler in 2009 to whom he was married for 35 years. He is survived by his son Mike Chisler of Tampa, FL; his step-son, Rudy Kulisek of FL; his step-daughters and their spouses, Barbara (Kulisek) and Mike Trace of Hartville, Karen (Kulisek) Crilley of NC, Diane (Kulisek) and Willie Gates of Canton; 8 step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren and 1 step-great-great-grandchild; his cousins, Joyce (Gene) Aitken of Morgantown, WV and Joanne (Alvin) Scheetz of Hellertown, PA. The family would like to extend their thanks to the wonderful staff at The Pines. Their caring and warm ways will always be remembered. And a special thanks to Crossroads Hospice for allowing him to pass away with dignity. And last but not least to Dr. Louie Shaheen for his compassion and care given to Paul and the family during our time of need. I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one, I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun Of happy memories that I leave When life is done. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Pastor Bill Eshelman of Crossroads Hospice will be officiating.
