Paul J. Thiessen

Paul J. “Jim” Thiessen, age76 of Canton passed away on Wednesday, July12, 2017. He was born on September 19, 1940 in Canton and was the son of the late William and Ruth (Warner) Thiessen. Paul retired from the Timken Company in 1991. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara L. (Stacy) Thiessen, his daughters, Tammi Cottrill and Heidi Sibila, his son James Thiessen, three grandchildren, one great grandchild, sisters, Sue and Patti and brother David. Funeral services will take place on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Burial will follow at East Union Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 p.m.
