Paul J. Morrison

Paul J. Morrison, 80, of Massillon passed away Saturday December 20th at Mercy Medical Center, Canton. He was born December 15, 1928 in Cleveland to the late Charles and Irene (Murry) Morrison. Paul was a veteran of the Marine Corp., serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a Class A Electrician and retired from the Hoover Co. Paul was a member of the Massillon Knights of Columbus #554, Massillon Moose Lodge #481, N. Canton Eagles Aerie # 2223, and was president of the Swing-a-Lings Square Dance Club. He enjoyed boating, camping, fishing, and swimming. Paul will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He married Jeannine (Cross) December 14, 1981 and she survives along with children Michael (Gerianne) Morrison of Sunbury, Daniel Morrison of Canton, Patricia (Tom Mozzochi) Morrison of Malvern, Kathleen (Louis) DiFiori of Massillon, Charles (Cheryl) Morrison of Canton, Theresa (John DeSantis) of Massillon, Ruth (Vince Cason) of Statesville, NC, Christine (Danny) Chatley of Houtzdale, PA, Penny (Skeet) Floom of Louisville, OH, Polly (Al) Weber of Canton, Patti Paul of Orrville, and Jeff (Sarai) Perrin of Melbourne, FL.; 48 grand and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by infant children Roxanne, Deloris, William, and Norbert, 3 brothers, 1 sister, and first wife Rita (Morrow). Calling hours will be Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at Paquelet Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd., Massillon. A Mass of Catholic Burial will be held Wednesday at 9:30 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Edward Gretchko officiating.
