Paul F. Schonauer

Paul F. Schonauer, 70 of Massillon, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Aultman Compassionate Care. He was born in Massillon on March 7, 1947. Following high school he served his country with the U.S. Army. He spent his career as a tool & die maker for 20 years at Tyson Roller Bearing followed by 28 years at Crown, Cork & Seal. Paul was preceded in death by his father Leroy Schonauer, his sister Kathy Schonauer and his stepchildren, Melissa, Matt and Mark Weygandt. He is survived by his wife Teresa (Foxx) Schonauer, whom he married on April 4, 2004, his sons, Steve (Jennifer) Schonauer and Scott (Jennifer) Schonauer, his mother, Daisy Schonauer, his sisters, Judy Schonauer, Beverly (Richard McCormick) Schonauer and Linda Schonauer, his brother Roland (Darlene) Schonauer and 8 grandchildren, Halle, Kacey, Maddie and Peyton Schonauer, Payton and Bryce Young and Bri and Brock Weygandt. A celebration of Paul’s life will take place on Friday at 11:00 am at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Newmans Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 pm and on Friday one hour before the service.
