Paul F. Quinn, Jr.

July 14, 1949 — March 28, 2021

Paul F. Quinn, Jr., 71, of Perry Township, passed away March 28, 2021 with his family at his side. He was born in Canton, Ohio to late Paul F., Sr. and Catherine (Rochowiak) Quinn. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda C. (Perdue) Quinn, his daughter Lauri (Charles) Martin, sons, Gregory (Jodi) Quinn and Paul F. (Sarah) Quinn, III and his grandchildren, Chas Martin, Luke Martin, Jordyn Quinn, and Lucy and Ethan Quinn. Paul is also survived by his brothers, James (Lydia) Quinn, Joseph Quinn, Michael Quinn, and Ronald “Butch” (Jenifer) Quinn and his sister-in-law Jacki Quinn. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother David “Hotchie” Quinn. He was a 1967 graduate of Perry High School. Paul proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Reserve for 25 years. He was activated during Desert Storm and was stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY. He retired as a company First Sergeant. Paul never knew a stranger and always put others first. He loved sharing his wisdom with anyone that would listen. To his three kids and many others, he was the best handyman around! He was a person that truly embraced retirement – he spent every Tuesday golfing with his good friends in the Old Travelers Golf League. He also enjoyed traveling with Linda – there favorite destination was Hawaii. Paul and Linda built a beautiful family together. He adored his bride for 51 years and worked so hard at the end of his life to ensure everything was taken care of for Linda. They enjoyed visiting warm beach destinations over the years and drinking fun cocktails by the beach. Paul was extremely proud of his kids Greg, Paul “Bud”, and Lauri. He was never afraid to brag to anyone that would listen about how wonderful his kids were! But Paul’s pride and joy were his five grandkids! Of all the titles Paul held throughout his 71 years, “Grandpa” was his favorite. Although Paul’s life was cut short, he left an impression on every person who knew him. We will all miss his big smile and his “can do”, helping spirit. God got a good one! Friends may call Monday, April 5, 2021 at Paquelet Funeral Home (1100 Wales Rd. NE, Massillon) from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Service to celebrate Paul’s life will take place on Tuesday, April 6 at 11:30 a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home with Chaplain Steve Kimbrel officiating.
