Paul D. "Dan" Kure, 72, of Jackson Township, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 10, 2024. Dan was born on January 5, 1952 in Lorain, Ohio the son of the late Charles and Mary (Bodey) Kure.
Dan was a United States Army veteran and graduated from West Point Military Academy in 1974 with a Bachelor's Degree in Science. He worked in the Electric Utility industry for over 40 years, and retired from Reliability First as a planning electrical engineer. Dan enjoyed camping, gardening, kayaking, and attending West Point Military Academy reunions. He was an active member of Cornerstone Baptist Church where he served and sang in the choir.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Kure with whom he shared 40 years of marriage; sons, Daniel Kure, and Michael Kure; brother, David Kure; and niece, Amy (Steve) Kohler.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his nephew, Marty Kure.
Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 6-8 pm at Cornerstone Baptist Church and on Friday from 10-11 am before the service at 11 am. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Messages of comfort and support may be sent to the family at www.paquelet.com.
