Paul B. 'Judd' Urban, Jr.

Paul B “Judd” Urban, Jr. age 75 of Beach City, passed away Wednesday at Mercy Medical Center. Paul was born on November 17, 1932 in Massillon to the late Paul B. and Ruth (Sprankle) Urban, Sr. He was a United States Army National Guard Veteran. Paul retired from Belknap Company in 1997 as a truck driver. He enjoyed bird watching and hunting. Paul was a member of Bible Faith Fellowship Church in Mt. Eaton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Sally Plott. He is survived by his wife, Theda J. (Parker) Urban, with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage on June 30, 2008; sons and daughter-in-law, Paul B. Urban, III of Beach City, Sam T. (Rebecca) Urban of Massillon; daughters and sons-in-law, Bobbie (Robert) Holderbaum of Massillon, Cary (Howard) Bucy of Massillon, Mary (Carmel) Heath of Strasburg; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard (Mary) Urban of Massillon, Jack (Margaret) Urban of North Olmstead; sisters, Betty Pittman of Massillon, Sharon Fenstermaker of Florida and eight grandchildren. Funeral services celebrating Paul’s life will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at the Arnold – Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon with Rev. Rodney McBride officiating. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00 PM and one hour prior to the services on Monday. Interment will take place at Massillon Cemetery following the services.
