Paul Ashley

Paul Ashley, 74, of North Lawrence, Ohio, passed away November 13, 2022. He was born on October 15, 1948 to the late Presley and Christine (Mize) Ashley.

Paul worked as a laborer for Babcock & Wilcox, and as a mechanic for Grass Master. He loved to fish and spent his free time attending car shows and working on old cars.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruby (Craig) Ashley, his brother, Hubert Ashley, his sister, Mary Wright, and his son, Robert Ashley.

Paul is survived by his daughters, Laurie Allison, Cindy (Dwayne) Powell, Tina (Clint) Foresha, his son, Paul (Kathlene) Ashley, Jr.; brothers, Wayne (Ada) Ashley, Norman (Lola) Ashley, Curtis (Rita) Ashley, Herman (Davanna) Ashley, his sisters, Layne (Ronnie) Lusk, and Hattie (Bob) Campbell; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Paul's services will be held in Bassett, Virginia at the Charity Free Will Baptist Church, 415 Orchard Dr, Bassett, VA 24055. Calling hours will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm with a funeral service starting at 1:00pm.

Burial will follow at Old Center Church Cemetery.
