Patricia Jean Tuel Buchanan Anderson 77, Massillon passed away peacefully Tuesday December 20, 2011 at her log cabin in the woods with her beloved cats, after an extended illness. Born in Akron , Ohio , on June 4, 1934, she was the daughter of the late John and Hazel Stanley. She retired in 1994 after 19 years at the Stark County District Library. Preceded in death by husbands Tom Buchanan and Albert Anderson; sisters, Marge Ormiston, Ramona Hoffer, Kaye Lynn Orolin; brothers, Bill Stanley and Bob Stanley; granddaughter, Julie Runion; son-in-law, Ernest Koch. She is survived by daughters; Kimberly Tuel Yoder of Canton, Paula Polly Tuel (Bill) Graef of Uniontown, and Amy Tuel (Dave Vuchkovich) Koch of Wilmot – all of whom have shirts saying "Mom Loves Me Best"; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Carol Cox and Mary Ormiston, stepsons; Dwight Buchanan and Jeff Buchanan; stepdaughter, Sharon Hoyt and many loving nieces, nephews, good friends and special friends, Laura Snyder and Gail Leaver. Pat loved Life with a Passion. She embraced every moment – always happy, laughing and loving. Her many gifts included painting, poetry, photography and crocheting. She was crazy fun to be with – we will remember many hours shopping with her and trying on every hat and every pair of sunglasses in the store then posing for a picture! She was great at always finding the joy in everything, making up silly names and trying to find a word that rhymed with orange. She loved Willie Nelson and even dreamed one time he was kissing her eyelids only to wake and find it was one of her cats. We will be Forever Thankful for the love she shared with us, and the way she encouraged us to believe in ourselves. She was our Mom, our mentor and our friend and we will miss her greatly. A service to celebrate Pat's life will take place on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Chaplain Kathy Schen officiating. Burial will follow at Newman Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 P.M. and one hour before the service on Friday. Donations may be made in her name to the Audio Visual Department of the Stark County District Library. The family would like to extend special thanks to Aultman Hospital C.C.U. staff, 5 North Staff and Aultman Home Health Care and Hospice.
