Patricia Ann Blickenderfer

Patricia Ann (Morris) Blickenderfer, died unexpectedly on April 6, 2015 in Vacaville, California. Pati was born in Santa Rosa, California on March 25, 1950 to Jack and Dot Morris. Pati was raised and educated in California and while vacationing in Ohio in 1969, she met her future husband Bob Blickenderfer. They were married on March 21, 1970 and lived their entire married life in Massillon. They recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary. Pati has always loved children and worked for many years as a pre-school teacher in Ohio. She was also very talented in a variety of arts and crafts. She also enjoyed sewing and creating gifts for family and friends. She had a kind and gentle spirit and possessed a great sense of humor. But those closest to her also knew of the quiet strength and dignity she had in facing the many medical and physical challenges she faced over the years. Pati is survived by her husband Bob, their beloved daughter Gina Blickenderfer and her adored grandson Cody Blickenderfer. She is also survived by her mother Dorothy Morris, her sister Sandra Cintas (Joe) and brother Ed Morris (Debi). Also surviving are her sisters-in-law, Sandy Zinna, Linda Waechter (Vince) and Penny Berg (Ted) and her niece and nephews Shelley Burch (Brian), Dan Zinna, Chris Zinna, and Michael Waechter, her great niece and great nephew, Kaeley and Alex Burch and many family members in California. She was preceded in death by her father Jack Morris. A service to celebrate Pati's life will take place at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch on Wednesday, April 15th at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 P.M.
