Patricia A. Spilker

Patricia A. Spilker, age 72 of Canton, died on Friday, April 3, 2009 at her daughter’s residence in Massillon. She was born on July 9, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois and was the daughter of the late Herman and Mary (Fobes) Stoll. She was an area resident for 42 years. Patricia had worked as a clerk with the Ohio Department of Transportation and was of the Catholic faith. She loved her family and faith and enjoyed cooking, crocheting and Big Band music. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard T. Spilker in 1983, her grandson Adam Spilker and her brother John Stoll. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Stephen T. Spilker of Eastlake, OH, Michael P. (Robin) Spilker of Green, OH, Lisa A. (Darin) Hull of Norwalk, OH, Susan M. (Jason) Dietrick of Massillon, OH and David J. Spilker of Bridgewater, MA. Also surviving are her grandchildren Joshua, Emily and Laura Spilker, Ryan, Grant and Eric Hull. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 726 1st St. NE, Massillon, OH with Fr. Edward Gretchko officiating. Cremation will follow. Burial of her cremated remains will take place at a later date at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. The family suggests memorials be made in the name of Patricia A.
