Patricia A. Meinhart, age 91, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed away peacefully, Saturday, November 27th at the Laurels of Massillon. She was born on September 11, 1930 in Massillon to the late James and Isabelle Dillon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Richard Meinhart. Pat was a graduate of Central Catholic, the former Mt. Marie Academy and owned and operated the Crowded Closet Resale Store for 30 years. She was very active at St. Joseph Catholic Church where she was a member of their Christian Mothers Altar Rosary Confraternity. She found much comfort and courage in her Catholic Faith. Pat is survived by her 4 children, Linda (Joseph) McKim, James Meinhart, John Meinhart and Julie (Bill) Dewald; sisters Mary Lou Stenger and Susan Williams and brother Dennis (Barbara) Dillon; grandchildren Lisa (Craig) Young, Steven (Mandy) Jenkins, Thomas (Sarah) Jenkins, Louis Meinhart, Elizabeth Meinhart, Daniel Meinhart, Emily (Neil) Koher, Dillon Dewald; great-grandchildren Lydia, Lily, and Tripp Young, Mikayla, Mikenze, and Isabella Jenkins, Harlow and Cohen Jenkins, Jordan Meinhart, Eve, Ava and Ellis Meinhart, Allison Koher ; step-granchildren Mark (Missy) McKim, Barbara McKim, Matthew McKim, Christopher (Alicia, fiancée) Dewald, Timothy (Jillian) Dewald; step-great-grandchildren Mason and Maddon McKim, Jack and Dominic Yerkey, Matty and Alexandria McKim and Mara Dewald; as well as many loved and cherished nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends today, Monday, November 29, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon with Fr. Raymond Paul officiating. Calling hours at the church will begin at 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Burial will be private. The family would also like to thank the Laurels of Massillon and Crossroads Hospice for their wonderful and compassionate care they gave to Pat. Because of Pat’s extreme generosity and kind heart, memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to St. Joseph’s St. Vincent DePaul Society, 322 3rd St. SE, Massillon, Ohio 44646.
