Patricia A. Gomez

Patricia A. Gomez, 62, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015, following an extended illness. She was born on May 23, 1953 in Mansfield to the late Cornelius and Maxine (Maddox) Gomez. Patricia was a graduate of Washington High School and Walsh University and worked for the City of Massillon in the Auditor's Office and the Waste Water Treatment Office retiring in 2006. She was known for loving life, bingo and shopping. She was a Member of New Life Church of God in Christ. She was a dedicated mother. She is survived by her children, Starlet Arrington of Massillon and Johnny T. ( Tiffany) McFadden II of Columbus; five grandchildren, John, Miracle, Tia, Victoria and Tyree; three sisters, Wanda Dudley of Canton, Rosia Brooks of Massillon and Regina Gomez of Akron; a brother, Cornelius Gomez, Jr. of Massillon; and a host of nieces , nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 2:00PM-5:00PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home. A Home Going Celebration will be held at St. James, AME Church on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 11:00AM. Burial will be in Massillon Cemetery.
