Patricia A. Archer

Patricia A. Archer, age 69 of Dalton, Ohio, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2009 at Aultman Hospital. She was born on July 23, 1940 in Homeworth, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Emmanuel S. & Retha (Ressler) Killian. She was an area resident all of her life. In 1958, she graduated from Dalton High School. She worked as a supervisor at Bell & Howell in Wooster, Ohio. Pat was a member of First Baptist Church in Massillon. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Vivian Santmyer and her brother, Joseph Killian. She is survived by her husband, Cecil “Dutch” Archer, whom she married on February 22, 1959, her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Carol Archer of Stow, Ohio, her granddaughters, who were so precious to her, Erica and Maria Archer of Stow, her brothers, Rev. Kenneth (Ina) Killian of Massillon and Dwight “Butch” (Janice) Killian of Florida and numerous special friends and relatives. A service to celebrate the life of Patricia Archer will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church in Massillon with Dr. Roger Alber officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5-8 P.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home and on Tuesday at the church one hour before the service.
