Pamela Ann Eisenzimmer Altland passed away with her husband by her side on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, following a long illness after suffering a stroke in May, 2011. Pam was born in Akron, Ohio on December 7, 1946 to Robert Stephen and Ada Jean Eisenzimmer. She was a 1965 graduate of Manchester High School in Akron and was employed at Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority for over 30 years. She worked as Director of Section 8 and the Property Manager at Norton Homes in Barberton as well as Allen Dickson and James Alpeter Senior high rise buildings also located in Barberton. She was a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan and loved cheering them on. Pam married Thomas Altland, O.D. on May 24, 1997. She is survived by her husband, her daughter, Lisa Mitchell Quinn, her son Stephen Walker, sister Rita Blaurock (Leonard), brothers, James Eisenzimmer and Mark Eisenzimmer, grandchildren, Austin Walker, Emily, Declan and Liam Quinn, stepdaughter, Molly Kopan, stepsons, Matthew and Jim Altland, “adopted sister” Karen Jones, many other relatives and friends and her “dog”/cat Jinxie. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather G. Fred Conway, her beloved dogs, Ming and Misty and other relatives and friends. Friends may call at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 4275 Lincoln Way West, Massillon, OH 44647 on Saturday, February, 3rd from 11:00 am- 1:00 pm with the service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Katie Jacob officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Avenue SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
