Opal C. Border

Opal C. Border, age 78 of Massillon, died Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Altercare of Navarre. She was born on February 6, 1929 in MacFarland, WV and was the daughter of the late Harry & Evelyn Cantwell. She was an area resident for most of her life. She graduated from Harrisville High School and enjoyed bingo and crocheting. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Vernon Border and her son John Border. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Larry & Karen Border of Navarre, OH, son Glenn Valentine of Massillon, OH, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and her brother Lowell Cantwell. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon with Rev. Edd Matako officiating. Burial will follow in East Greenville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 PM and on Wednesday one hour before the service.
