Olga M. Pachis, 90 of Massillon, passed away Sunday at the Laurels of Massillon. Olga was born on February 6, 1923 in Massillon to Lazarus and Agape (Gepases) Sarianides. Olga was a big Buckeye fan, she would walk everywhere, loved to read, play bingo and was known for her baking Greek pastries. She was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church and was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Olga was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gus Sr., four sisters, Ardy, Mary, Vasie, Bessie and a brother, Ernie. She is survived by her children, Gus (Karen) Pachis, Jr. of Tucson, AZ, Christine Harder of Massillon and Tim (Sherrie) Pachis of Boyton Beach, FL; seven grandchildren, Sarah, Trevor, Tanner, Noreen, Kathy, Mark & Kimberly; nine great grandchildren, Ethan, Mackenzie, Mason, Jesse, Amanda, Raegan, Sebastian, Stella & Molly; great-great grandson, Brayden; sister, Margaret (Frank) Gibson of Massillon. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 A.M. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. Yanni officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
