Olga C. Cebulko

Olga C. Cebulko, age 91 of Massillon passed away January 21, 2016 at Affinity Medical Center. Olga was born March 27, 1924 in Hawk Run, PA to the late Joseph & Agnes (Harvarn) Volk. Olga met the love of her life in Hawk Run, where she and Ed were married in 1947. They ventured to Ohio where they began their beautiful life together. Ed built their new home with a book from the library and the help of friends. Olga was a wonderful homemaker and exceptional seamstress. She had a great talent for interior decorating and her home was an ever changing landscape. Her draperies are in the homes of many family and friends from Pennsylvania through Ohio to Las Vegas. (You know who you are!) Their day started on the deck with a pot of coffee and may have ended at their bar listening to Dean Martin with a glass of wine and a martini - and enjoying an impromptu dance. The most important thing to mom was dad and her family - and Christmas gatherings were the best! Visits from Santa Albert, dad serenading her with "Let it snow", and the aromas from her kitchen- created some of our fondest memories. We'll miss you Mom! Olga was preceded in death by her husband Edward A. Cebulko (1999), a son Robert Cebulko (2014), grandson Craig Cebulko (2012) and five sisters and a brother. Mrs. Cebulko is survived by three children and their families: Elaine (James) Jones of Henderson, NV, Edward (Judith) Cebulko of Las Vegas and Ken (Patty) Cebulko of Canton. Her grandchildren are: Chris (Jon) Eivins, Staci (Matt) Loser, Ryan (Emily) Smith, Alexandra (Ryan) Cormier, Nicole (fiancé Marty) Cebulko, and Joseph Cebulko. She has ten great grandchildren. She has a sister and a brother: Velma Hanslovan and Mike (Irene) Volk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Monday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Fr. Weikart will officiate. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 PM Sunday at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Donations can be made to the St. Joan of Arc Memorial Fund in Olga's name.
