Odessa Sarah Parker

Odessa Sarah Parker, 86, passed away in Fredericksburg, VA. She was born in Spartanburg, SC to the late Arthur and Nellie (Kelly) Smith on July 1, 1927. Odessa retired from the Apple Creek State Hospital Apple Creek, OH. She was a member of Truth & Glory Church, Springfield, VA. She is survived by her children Gwendell Heath of Fredericksburg, VA, Patrica Wilkins of Stafford, VA, James E. Parker, Marion C. Parker, S. Bruce Parker all of Massillon and Robert A. Parker of Fredericksburg, VA; fourteen grandchildren; Thirty-three great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; sisters Purvis Kelly, Sally Brown and Doretha Turner. She is also preceded in death by her husband Ralph C. Parker and daughter Lela Parker. Friends and family may call at the Shiloh Baptist Church, Massillon from 9:00AM - 10:00AM Saturday, April 19, 2014 with a service to follow at 10:00AM, Rev. Anthony Robinson, officiating.
