Ocie Phyllis Swisher

Ocie P. Swisher, 89, passed away on January 17, 2017, following an extended illness. She was born in Walker, WV, on October 11, 1927 to the late, John M. and Lelia M. (Spiker) Craven. She was a graduate of Cairo High School, Class of 1946 and was a member of The Salvation Army. Ocie is survived by her children, Michael D. Swisher of Massillon, John R. (Cynthia) of Atlanta, GA and Timothy K. (Chris) Swisher of Massillon; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren: and daughter-in-law, Debbie Swisher of Dalton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis D. Swisher; daughter, Janice Carole Armstrong; son, Gary P. Swisher; three brothers, Clarence, Hazen and Doyle Craven; and three sisters, Ruby Masonjak, Ernistine Ward and Hazel Craven.
