Norma Gene Morehead

Norma Gene Morehead, 84, of Massillon, went on to her Eternal Resting Place on November 28, 2024 at Aultman Hospital.  

She was born on November 1, 1940 to the late Carl and Wilma (Sharp) Parrish in Dennison, OH. 

Norma was a graduate of Dennison High School. She worked as an Avon Representative, and was also the secretary treasurer for Hall of Fame Bowling Alley Senior League. Norma was an active member of Anchor Baptist Church. She was an outgoing woman, dedicated to her family. If you knew her for a minute, you were a friend for life.

Norma is survived by her loving children, Deborah (Rodger Stewart) Ferrell, Michael Ferrell, and Pamela G. (Evan) Smith; grandchildren, Vanessa Ferrell, Nicole Hidey, Savannah Ferrell, Jason Smith, and Amanda (Brandon) Smith; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Lonnie Parrish; sister-in-law, Patty Parrish; 3 step-children; and step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Morehead; son, Fabian Ferrell; brother, Paul Parrish; and sister-in-law, Mary Parrish.

Visitation will be held on Thursday December 5, 2024 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, 10:30 am at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, with Pastor Shane Rice & Pastor Mark Jacobs officiating.

Burial will follow in the Brookfield Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, per Norma's wishes memorial contributions may be made to Anchor Baptist Church.
