Norma M. Reid

Norma M. Reid, age 94, of Massillon passed away on May 06, 2019. She was born in Massillon on August 20, 1924 to the late David and Sadie Reese. She was a 1942 graduate of Washington High School. She married Glenn I. Reid on June 18, 1942 and they shared 40 years together until his passing in 1983. Norma was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her home. She enjoyed working in her garden, playing bingo and going to Mountaineer Casino. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter and son-in-law Sally and William Phillips; grandchildren Tammie (Randy) Heighley, Alisa (Mark) Hero, David (Margie) Reid, Robert (Dianne) Phillips and Ellen (Christopher) Sorm; 11 great –grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren as well as a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Glenn “Sonny” Reid and her sister Pauline Mang. A Celebration of Norma’s life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 10:30am at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home & Crematory.
