Norma Jean (Unkefer) Pavelzik

Our Beloved Mother Norma Jean (Unkefer) Pavelzik, age 81, went home to be with the Lord on May 17, 2016. She was born in Canton August 09, 1934 to the late George and Annie Frances Cecelia (Lucas) Unkefer. Norma was a loving mother, who raised five children; they were the love of her life. She worked at Nancy's Ceramics and Sanese Services for many years. She was a long-time member of Perry Christian Church, a member of Red Hats and Tops and Kops. As well as being in several card clubs and women's prayer groups. Norma was a state Amateur Bowling champion and loved to golf. A woman of many talents, Norma was very artistic. She never knew a stranger and will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She is survived by her children Rob (Gloria) Pavelzik, Terry (Marla) Pavelzik, Gregory Pavelzik, Lori Pavelzik and Kathy (Robert) Croston; her grandchildren Jodi (Jim) Lee, Clarissa (Mark) Constable, Joseph (Diane) Croston, Tana (Bret) Rodgers, Joshua (Missy) Croston, Danielle Pavelzik, Christopher Cocklin, Alyson "Aly Baby" Croston and Steven Cocklin; her great-grandchildren Nicholas, Benjamin, Claire, Lily, Cecelia, Bronte, and Wesley; her sister Nancy Unkefer as well as a host of family members and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother Jay Unkefer A Celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, May 24th at Perry Christian Church. Visitation 10:00, service to follow at 11:00am.
