Norma Jean Kreemer

Norma Jean Kreemer, 85, of Canal Fulton, formerly of Grove City, passed away suddenly Friday, December 12, 2014. Norma was born on January 7, 1929 in Columbus the daughter of the late Henry and Julia (Armstrong) Myers. Norma lived most of her life in the Columbus area. She worked for the Tallmadge Co. as a bookkeeper and retired from Southwestern City Schools where she worked as a librarian. Norma loved reading, sewing, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Grove City and St. Jacob Lutheran Church in Massillon. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard B. Kreemer in 2011. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Richard M. (Margaret) Kreemer, Michael (Tammy) Kreemer, Rev. Mark E. (Veronica) Kreemer, and Rebecca (David) Clifton; her sister Dorothy Morton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Norma's life will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014, 12 p.m. at St. Jacob Lutheran Church: 8697 Mudbrook Street N.W. Massillon, OH 44646. Rev. Lynn Williamson, presiding. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 11-12 p.m. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
