Norma Jean Indorf

Norma Jean Indorf, 88, of Perry Township passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016. Norma was born on July 4, 1927 in Massillon, the daughter of Louis and Amanda (Heckathorn) Rider. She was a 1945 graduate of Washington High School and worked for Schrader's Grocery until her marriage to Dale in 1950. She was a lifelong and active member of Faith Lutheran Church. Norma enjoyed sewing, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She also spent time helping her husband Dale with farming. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Indorf in 2009; granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Indorf; sisters, Elizabeth Hartman and Lois Mohacsek; and her brother, Louis Rider. She is survived by her children, Gerald Indorf, Keith (Teri) Indorf and Amy (Richard Williams) Indorf; and grandchildren Christian and Cheyenne Indorf. Norma's family would like to thank the staff at The Inn at University Village and Great Lakes Caring Hospice for the care and compassion shown to her. A Celebration of Norma's life will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Massillon. Burial will follow at Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre.
