Norma Jean Hummel

Norma Jean Hummel age 77 of Navarre passed away Wednesday September 12, 2007 after a brief illness. Norma was born April 6, 1930 in Canton to the late Gale & Ethel Ecrement and moved to Massillon in 1961. Norma will be missed by her family, for the times when she was shopping with her daughter and visiting her son and his family in Florida. The grandchildren were often the topic of her conversations. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Albert P. Hummel (1995) and a daughter Shirley Favret (1997). She will be sadly missed by her two children and their spouses: Victoria & Gregory Derr of Massillon and Jeffrey & Tracy Hummel of Tampa, FL. There are five grandchildren: Brian, Chris, Brett, Nicholas and Joseph. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Saturday September 15, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon.
