Norma J. Ritz

Norma Jean Ritz, 93, of Massillon, went home to be with her Lord on February 28, 2023. She was born in Ecorse, Michigan on March 24, 1929, to the late James and Florence (Langenfeld) Bittner.

Norma was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She enjoyed doing puzzles, was an avid bowler in her younger years, and loved watching baseball, whether it was her beloved Cleveland Indians or supporting her grandchildren at their games. She was also active in many card clubs throughout the years which she really looked forward to.

Norma is survived by her sons, Harold (Debbie) Ritz, Jr. and Del Ritz; grandchildren, Andrew Ritz, Matthew (Brittany) Ritz, Kaley (Anthony) Geiger, Cassidi Ritz, Kristyn Ritz, Cortney Ritz; great-grandchildren, Knytlee Ritz, Chase Ritz, Phoenix Ritz, and Ellarie Geiger; as well as her sister, Charlotte Hess.

In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Harold Ritz, Sr. and her 3 brothers Harold, Duane, and Don Bittner.

At this time cremation will take place and services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Aultman Hospice.
