Norma J. Friend

Norma J. Friend, 82 of Massillon, died on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Affinity Medical Center. She was born on April 1, 1929 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late Arthur Webster and Margaret (Fisher) Henry. Norma had been employed at the former Massillon Rubber Company. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and A.A.R.P. #3336. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Linda Hackley, her brother James Henry and her sister Peggy Burtt. She is survived by her sons James Brunckhart and Michael (Janette) Brunckhart, her daughters, Margaret Pool and Darlene (Joe) Adorjan, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Alice Ferguson, Donna Curtis, Audrey Henry and Janet Henry, her sister-in-law Ann Henry, her brother-in-law Robert Burtt and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 1:00 PM at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with her pastor Jeffrey Coggins officiating. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday at the funeral home from 6-8 P.M. and on Tuesday one hour before the service..
