Norma J. Eberhardt

Norma J. Eberhardt, age 82 of Canton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Affinity Medical Center. She was born on November 7, 1927 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late O.D. and Mary Lucille (Renee) Bashford. She graduated from Jackson High School in 1945 and was a lifelong area resident. She was a doctor’s assistant for Dr. Maurice Stillwell and Dr. Henry Clapper. She enjoyed golf, vacations at Lake Erie with her family and sailing at Atwood Yacht Club with her husband and family. She was a member of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church. On June 28, 1947 she married Howard L. Eberhardt who preceded her in death in 2003. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jane L. and David E. Warner of Canton, her grandson J. Stuart Deal of Cleveland, her sisters, Lee Correll of Wisconsin and Mary Jane Herrick of Massillon and her nephews, Dean Herrick, Dale Herrick and Scott Correll. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 1st at 2:00 P.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday one hour prior to the service. Jane, Dave and Stuart wish to thank the staff at Amherst Meadows for the loving and compassionate care that they gave her. We are grateful for the hard work and dedication that they provide on a daily basis.
