Nora Mae Profant, age 92 of Massillon, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2010 at Aultman Hospital. She was born on October 19, 1917 in Beech Grove, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Obidiah and Marie (Fisher) Hetrick. Nora had worked as an inspector at the former Tyson Roller Bearing Company. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Martha Society at the church and she enjoyed sewing and bowling in the church’s bowling league. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Profant, her son Edward “Buddy” Kouth, her daughter Nora Jean Smith a grandson Carl Kegley, Jr., a great granddaughter, Kristin Kouth, her brother LeRoy Hetrick, her son in law, Robert Krug and her daughter in law Mary Kouth. She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Krug of North Lawrence and Roseann (Carl) Kegley of Canton, her son in law, Walter Smitty Smith and 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren and 6 step great great grandchildren Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. John Telloni officiating. Burial will follow at Newmans Creek Cemetery.
