Nola Jo Wheeler

Nola Jo Wheeler, age 85 of Massillon passed away January 10, 2011, with her family present to celebrate her birthday. Nola was born January 10, 1926 in New Matamoras, OH to the late Eugene & Jessie Wheeler and lived in Massillon most of her life. She was a homemaker and attended the First Assembly of God. Nola Jo enjoyed cruising on her scooter going to garage sales, working crossword puzzles and fishing. Her family will always remember her love for animals and doting on her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-seven years, James E. Wheeler in 1984. She is survived by four children: Joyce (James Daniel) Wheeler, James E. (Barbara) Wheeler, Ed Wheeler and Cindy (Patrick) Chaddock Crone all of Massillon; there are eight grandchildren, Ed, James, Tony, Jason Wheeler, Mark Chaddock, Nicole Borck, Jessica Wheeler and Mindy Chaddock; and thirteen great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11 AM Thursday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. The Rev. Ken Weaver will officiate. Burial will be at Brookfield Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 AM until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
