Nellie Brahm

Nellie Brahm, age 97, of Massillon passed away on January 7, 2012 at Manor Care in Canton after a period of declining health. She was born in Mason Town, PA on May 11, 1914 to the late Samuel B. Helmick and Blanche Bowman Welch. She married Clarence E. Brahm on September 25, 1935 and they were together for 66 years until his death in 2001. She is survived by her daughter Becky (Mike) Mikus , 2 sons, Tom (Barb) Brahm and James (Mary) Brahm, 7 Grandchildren, Several Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, Jon Brahm; a daughter Sandy Selan, her brother, Fred Helmick, and one sister Vera Helmick Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, January 13, 2012 at Sunset Hills Burial Park at the Mausoleum Chapel at 11:30A.M. Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 A.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Friday, January 13, 2012. The family wishes to thank the staff at Manor Care, Arcadia Unit for the loving & compassionate care that they gave her. We are grateful for the hard work and dedication that they provided on a daily basis.
