Ned Norwood Guest

Ned Norwood Guest, 81, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022 following a lengthy illness. Ned was born on November 8, 1940 in Canton, the son of the late Norwood and Arlene (Foltz) Guest. He was a 1960 graduate of Jackson High School. He retired from Wean United Engineering after 45 years of service. Ned was an avid sports fan; supporting Jackson High School and Ohio State. He was very athletic, and enjoyed volleyball, fumble ball, and swimming. Ned was a role model to his daughter and son. He never met a stranger and was a friend to all. He adored his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Most importantly, he cherished his wife of 61 years, Sue.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Guest.

He is survived by his wife, Sue (Schiltz) Guest; daughter, Lori (Jack) Morton; son, Bruce Ned (Karen) Guest; grandchildren, Todd (Amy) Michael, Jr., Erica (Ace) Perren, Jacqueline (fiancé Greg Koch) Michael, Lindsay (Justin) Dobbin, Caroline (fiancé Keegan Grubb) Guest; great-grandchildren, Addison Michael, Owen Michael, Mia Michael, Millie Perren, Collin Dobbin; sisters, Alice Mae Orr, and Jane Guest; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Paquelet Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation @ www.t2t.org. Messages of comfort and support may be sent to the family at www.paquelet.com.
