Nathan Erman Casto, 85, passed away on January 11, 2022. He was born on February 16, 1936, in Given, WV to the late Nathan E. and Bertha A. (Sargent) Casto. Nathan attended Massillon Baptist Temple and was a retiree of Republic Engineered Steels. He played on the Sons of Herman Horse Shoe League and Canton Horse Shoe League. An avid and skilled gardener, he also enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing. His favorite past time was his children and grandchildren. Nathan was also a big OSU Football fan. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty three years, Dora Lynn (Cloxton) Casto, whom he married on August 18, 1958; their children, Anna M. (Ben) Rolls, Deidre L. (Greg) Tritt, Karen S. (Pete) Keane and Nathan D. Casto; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Judy A. (Lester) Painter. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his, siblings, Arden Casto, Letcher Casto, Eugene Casto, Victor Casto, Mayfrey Greene, Katherine Richardson and Freda Pignato. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 12PM-1:30PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home with a funeral service to be held at 1:30PM, Dr. Cecil Thayer, officiating.
