Nancy Hartwick Butler

Nancy Hartwick Butler, age 66 of Canton went to the arms of our Lord December 1, 2011 after a year long illness. She was born March 24, 1945 in Canton to Harry & Evelyn (Marker) Hartwick. Nancy was proceeded in death by her father and a daughter Donna Petersen of Hartford, CN. Survivors include her son Mark (Rhonda) Butler of Canton and daughter Hope (Dave) Stuart of NC; mother Evelyn Finley of Massillon, a brother Dave (Sue) Hartwick of Louisville and two sisters Darlene (Sam) Crawford of Massillon and Diane (the late Tom) Basham of Massillon. She leaves seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Nancy was an avid lover of animals and had two cats that she loved dearly, Sophie and Pearl. A Memorial Service will be 3 PM Tuesday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon, Rev. James Henninger will officiate. Friends may call from 1 PM until the time of the service.
